William Furley is an associate professor of Greek at Heidelberg University. He is the editor of two previous editions of Menander’s plays from the University of London Press. He is the author and editor, with Jan Maarten Bremer, of Greek Hymns, a collection of surviving Greek religious poetry addressed to the gods.
