Alfred Thomas
Alfred Thomas is professor of English at the University of Illinois at Chicago and the author of several books, recently, The Czech Legend of St. Catherine of Alexandria: The Text and Its Context (2024) and Writing Plague: Language and Violence from the Black Death to COVID-19 (2022). He is also the coeditor of Cultures of Forgery: Making Nations, Making Selves (2003).
